Actor Ajay Devgn is all set to step into the shoes of a producer for a Marathi period drama titled, ‘Vitti Dandu‘. The actor’s production house will be producing this film, which is based on the fight between choosing the love for one’s country and the struggle of attachments with loved ones.
It is mainly based on a relationship between a grandfather and his young grandson. The film is slated to release by the end of the year. Its trailer is all set to be unveiled with Singham Returns in theaters.
The film stars big names from Marathi cinema such as Dilip Prabhavalkar, Ravindra Mankani, Yatin Karyekar, Radhika Deore (child artist), Mrunal Thakur Nishant Bhavsar (Child Artist), Shubhankar Aatre (Child Artist), and Ashok Samarth.
Vitti Dandu has been directed by Ganesh Kadam. Already Bollywood actors such as Riteish Deshmukh and Shreyas Talpade have ventured into the Marathi film industry as producer and actor and now Ajay is also expected to excel with this film.
